Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that requires no muscular exertion; the entire class will take place on the mat and all poses will either be seated or lying down. Each pose is held for several minutes and deeply supported by props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks (or at home alternative such as pillows and towels). No yoga or meditation experience is needed and all levels are welcomed and encouraged.
